Date Posted: Thursday, February 18th, 2021There are two (2) positions expiring on the Viola Board of Commissioners. All positions are two (2) year terms. Any eligible person (18 years old or older, U.S. Citizen and resident of Viola for a minimum of one year, and never convicted of a felony) interested in serving on the Board of Commissioners must submit their name in writing, postmarked no later than March 10, 2021 to: Ernst Arndt, Interim President Board of Commissioners P.O. Box 121 Viola, DE 19979 Within seven (7) days of declaring intent to serve, as described above, each candidate must complete a Certificate of Intention and returned to the Dept. of Elections as instructed at their website. If the number of candidates exceeds the number of positions available, an election will be held Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Viola Town Hall.
