Vehicle Crash Incident
Date Posted: Sunday, May 16th, 2021At approximately 5:57 AM on May 16, 2021, there was a tragic vehicle collision on South Main Street in town that directly affected two residences. The owner of the 2 residences wants to thank the volunteers that worked so hard to clean up the aftermath of the collision; the families are thankful for a caring community and to those that went above and beyond when needed. Any eligible person (18 years old or older, U.S. Citizen and resident of Viola for a minimum of one year, and never convicted of a felony) interested in serving on the Board of Commissioners must submit their name in writing, postmarked no later than March 10, 2021 to: Ernst Arndt, Interim President Board of Commissioners P.O. Box 121 Viola, DE 19979 Within seven (7) days of declaring intent to serve, as described above, each candidate must complete a Certificate of Intention and returned to the Dept. of Elections as instructed at their website.
